I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist that works with adolescent and adult individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in anxiety, emotion dysregulation, trauma, relationships, depression, neurodivergence (autism and ADHD), and challenges related to gender, sexuality, and sexual orientation.
As a queer therapist, I am passionate about supporting people within the LGBTQ+ community and creating a space where identity can be explored and affirmed. I also work with partners, parents, and loved ones of queer and trans individuals to help them build understanding and strengthen their relationships.
My approach is grounded in authentic connection, curiosity, and collaboration. I primarily draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness and somatic approaches, and I incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
My work is trauma-informed and rooted in intersectionality, attachment theory, and polyvagal theory. As a certified yoga teacher, I integrate mind-body awareness to support self-understanding, grounding, and regulation.
