Hi there and welcome! I am a Registered Psychologist offering psychology and consultation services in person in Edmonton, and virtually across Alberta.
I am experienced in working with young children (2+), adolescents, teens, and adults. I utilize a fully equipped Play Therapy room at Oak & Acorn Therapy (north/central), and Sagacious Counselling (south Edmonton). I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I look forward to working with you, to meet your goals. Trauma is my speciality and I offer a trauma informed practice for youth and adults.
I use a person-centred, strengths-based approach to treatment. This means that I tailor treatment to your individual needs, while focusing on your strengths and values. I am trained in Play Therapy, EMDR, an EMDR-Child Specialist, and CBT, and work from an attachment based lens. I am also an approved supervisor for Yorkville University practicum students.
Therapy can be a scary (and courageous!) step towards your wellness. I work to understand your life through your perspective, as this is after all, your journey.
