Reaching out to start therapy can be anxiety-provoking. It's important to me that you feel comfortable in session and we build a trusting relationship as it's the foundation of therapeutic success. My aim is to help you understand why you feel or behave in the ways that you do and find helpful coping strategies to live a more meaningful life. Therapy goals are based on your priorities and values. In sessions, we will discuss how your feelings, thoughts, trauma or current stressors are impacting your life. I incorporate mindfulness, self-compassion, somatic regulation and value-based actions to work towards your goals.
I offer both individual and couples counselling. I am trained in the Gottman Method for couples. My aim when working with couples is to help you understand each other on deeper level, learn to communicate effectively and build trust, connection and intimacy.
I am a certified counsellor (CCC) and naturopath (n.d.) and I work primarily with anxiety, depression and trauma. I am accepting new clients in-person and virtually. If you think we may work well together, feel free to email or call to discuss any questions you may have. You can use the online booking tool on my website if you would like an appointment.
