While teaching at the Belgian Bible Institute in Belgium for 11 years, I was also a prison chaplain (1980 - 1989). In BC, I taught at college level; I co-produced 18 TV programs (9 - Boundaries, 9 - Depression); I've been an instructor of counselling training for the Salvation Army. My counselling is wholistic, eclectic, pragmatic - addressing issues including abuse, addictions, anger, stress, depression, grief, fears/phobias, relationships, trauma, PTSD, weight loss, separation/divorce.
I am a trained and experienced Communication Specialist and use multiple therapies including TIR/LSR, EMDR, TAT, EFT, CBT, Guided Imagery, and Pastoral/Christian. I have a certificate in Trauma Counselling and have expertise in addiction counselling. Achieving your counselling goals in the shortest time-frame possible is my priority.
