Expressive Wellness offers a sliding scale individual and relationship counselling sessions with Masters-level practicum students ($30-100 a session, self chosen rate), as well as counselling by Registered Counsellors and Social Workers. Centring anti-oppressive counselling, we work alongside 2SLGBTQI+ folks, BIPOC folks, sex workers, neurodivergent folks, folks who have experienced traumas, folks who cope with OCD, and poly/kink communities. We provide individual, family and relationship counselling. Practice focuses include EMDR, somatic work, emotion focused therapy, DBT and narrative therapy.
We are an intersectional group of counsellors that aims toward building a safer space to explore areas of importance to you. We focus on supporting people who have experienced individual and collective traumas/oppressions, and folks in which normative spaces don't quite fit. We offer in-person, online, telephone, and outreach counselling sessions.

A group for BIPOC folks navigating connection in a dominant culture of loneliness and isolation. This group will use a cultural relational lens and art therapy. Monthly starting Feb. 17th 6-8 pm. Queer BIPOC Drop-in Writing Group
A weekly in-person no-cost drop-in writing group for queer, trans, Black, Indigenous, people of colour (QTBIPOC) to write, process, feel, and connect. The group will offer themes like queerness, diaspora, and connection to land and water and learning ways of knowing and being from nature. There will also be opportunities for somatic practices and exploring ways somatic practices can connect with our writing. Sharing is always optional and there will be various options for giving and receiving feedback.
