Sometimes life is hard, and we've tried talking to family, friends, colleagues, and other trusted individuals in our lives. Sometimes we feel like no one in our lives will really "get it." I have experience and regularly work with clients facing issues related to marriage and relationships, as well as mental health issues including anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and loss, burn out, and narcissistic abuse. Having a trusted counsellor to talk through some of these issues helps you feel heard and like you can make meaning from both the challenging and the good experiences of your life.
I work mostly with couples and individuals seeking support in their marriage or intimate relationship; as well as individuals who are looking for support for dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction (their own or someone else's), grief and loss, work burn out, and healing from narcissistic abuse.
As someone who has had many challenges in her own life, and can understand the many different challenges that we can experience in our lives, it is my profound belief that we can make meaning from painful experiences, and while this does not erase the past, it can make our future much more beautiful than we would have imagined possible.
