For the last 27 years I have shared my time as a psychotherapist and art therapist between the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and private practice at the Queen Elizabeth Health Centre. In addition, since 2005 I have taught in Concordia University's Masters in Art Therapy. I offer a therapeutic place for adults, children and teenagers to work individually. I work with a focus on both current maladaptive patterns, origins of current emotions, behaviours and thoughts, and a strong emphasis on one's sense of self, while always finding the strengths and resilience that is in each person.
I have an expertise in child and adolescent mental health, especially eating disorders and sexual abuse. As a credentialed, registered art therapist and licensed psychotherapist, I work with you, or your child, in either one, or both modalities: verbal & artistic. This offers a rich & vital combination to express oneself authentically and heal.
There are times in life when we all need a place to figure out difficulties, challenges and problems. I invite you to reach out and give me a call. I am devoted to support your exploration, find solutions and heal from whatever is troubling you, or your child.
