Whether it's dealing with anxiety, or feeling that you're not engaged/ enjoying your life, Salish Sea Counselling can support you to refresh your energy, develop positivity and learn new skills. Salish Sea integrates conceptual knowledge, the body/ energetic patterns, mindfulness approaches, spirituality and medical model formulations to support your personal and professional discovery and growth. After a few sessions at Salish Sea, people find they're able to communicate more effectively, be more authentic and live increasingly satisfying lives and take responsibility for the quality of their relationships with others.
I assess for trauma, self-messaging and to understand your strengths. I include the body, energy and emotions, assessing for blockages & dysregulation. I help you understand the emergence of historically adaptive but currently non-useful behaviours and support you to develop self-compassion and build skills for mastery, increased relational satisfaction and sense of belonging.
My practice is strongly influenced by my training at The Haven, a registered private educational institution on Gabriola Island specializing in relational living.
