I am a caring, dedicated Masters level registered Clinical Social Worker with a passion for fostering authentic relationships where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. My approach to therapy is client-focused, strengths-based, and anti-oppressive. I am committed to providing space for emotional vulnerability, while also helping clients to develop practical tools to cope with difficulties, grow, and heal. I help clients to recognize their strengths and resiliency, while also cultivating the skills to work towards positive transformation.
My experiences include work in education, children’s mental health, behaviour and play therapy. I specialize in providing educational support and therapy to neuro-diverse children and youth, and supporting Black and racialized university students. I utilize a myriad of therapeutic modalities to assist my clients to overcome complex challenges.
As a therapist at Become Resilient Individuals (BRI) Counselling Services, I create a warm, safe, welcoming and brave space where all voices can be heard, challenges overcome, and lives transformed. The BRI Counselling mission is to ignite hope, build strengths and empower people to become more resilient in all aspects of life.
