I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology degree, with 20+ years of experience counselling individuals, groups and families. My approach is a systemic, collaborative, strengths-based therapeutic one, while incorporating practices that enhance the mind, body and spirit.
My familiarity includes the management, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for mental health and substance use disorders using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based (MBSR).
I have successfully counselled those for concerns of anger, anxiety, crisis, depression, dissociation, domestic violence, eating, grief, illness, LGBTQ2S, mood, parenting, racial trauma, relationships, self-esteem, sexual, sleep, substances, and trauma etc. Lastly, I am a lover of dogs, travel and live performances of any kind :)
