I specialize in maternal mental health and perinatal mood issues, such as perinatal anxiety, postpartum depression and anxiety, birth trauma and PTSD. I support women with intrusive thoughts and those more extreme worries. I also support women through miscarriage and loss. I am taking on new clients.
My professional experience and training in these areas allows me to be compassionate and confident as I work w/ women who are experiencing mood issues, instability, ambivalence, grief, guilt, rage and not feeling themselves. I'm familiar with this level of distress and the fears that can come from reaching out for help when you have a new baby.
I have 16 years of experience. I have official certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PMH-C). I am a caring and compassionate counsellor who also has life experience that helps inform my practice.
