Located outside Fredericton in Hanwell, NB, I work with adults and youth and children from diverse backgrounds who are faced with a variety of mental health and social concerns. Specifically, I specialize in the social-emotional issues of trauma, ptsd, depression and anxiety. Life can already be challenging, but worry, stress, fear, doubt, guilt, sadness, frustration, or disappointment. It is my belief that we have the resources to effectively manage the challenges that we are confronted by. We might just need a reminder about what those strengths and skills are. And it couldn't hurt to learn a new technique to improve our wellness.
My approach focuses on promoting wellness in the lives of the people I work with through resilience, emotional wholeness, and self-determination. Key features of my practice include self-reflection, balance, acceptance, mindfulness, and importantly, supportive and collaborative relationships.
