There's a version of strength that can become more like a cage. One we built ourselves, piece by piece, for reasons that made sense at the time. And so we hold ourselves together, and we manage and we cope. We might even do such a good job of it that we build a pretty life. And yet somewhere inside it, the very strength that built that life keeps us from truly living it. What held us together starts to hold us back - from connection, from being known, from being held rather than always doing the holding.
I know this from the inside. I've lived within the shackles of my “strength,” felt how my early strategies quietly shaped the way I lived and loved and parented. And I've experienced what's possible when that changes. How much softer and fuller life can feel. That journey is what brought me here, and it's what I bring into the room with every client.
Drawing on EFT, attachment-based therapy, Inner Child Work, and somatic approaches, I help clients gently untangle the patterns that confine them. Because somewhere beneath those patterns, there's a version of us that longs for more. For connection, for ease, for the freedom to finally put it down. And I'd be honoured to know them.
