Children, teens and adults of all ages with a variety of issues come to see me for issues such as, trauma, anxiety/stress, depression, attachment issues, grief/loss, relationship difficulties, behavioural challenges, low self-esteem/confidence/self identity, life transitions, separation, eating disorders, sexual and physical assault, PTSD, and a variety of other issues. I am a registered psychotherapist, expressive arts therapist and certified play therapist. I use a strength-based, collaborative approach and use a variety of integrative evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
I use a variety of creative,compassionate, gentle and strength-based approaches to make the therapy process less threatening and more effective. I have training and experience with children, teens and adults with trauma and provide a variety of therapy approaches such as; Safe and Sounds, CBT, IFS, play therapy, creative arts therapy and narrative therapy.
I believe that change happens when people are given a safe supportive outlet to be themselves free of judgement. I collaboratively work with clients to help them establish and work toward their goals to heal and move forward. I offer a therapeutic space of creativity, emotional safety and compassion with a gentle engaging approach to awareness & healing.
