Clients who see me are often in committed relationships, ones that are new and just getting started or relationships that have a long history of 20-40 years or more. People want to change the relationship, deepen it or decide if it is a keeper. What each person values may need to be clarified and shared. The language they use to communicate may not bring the results they want so we look at changing how they relate, the stance each takes, the influence of family values and history. How about intimacy: is it enough to satisfy each person, is it often enough, is it forgotten?
I connect with individuals, couples, polyamorists and whoever needs to connect, reconnect, disconnect. People come to me after loss to grieve, to find solace in going forward alone. Clients bring their lives to share with me to improve mental health, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationships, changes, goals and intimacy, sexual relationships.
I have over 25 yrs experience as a psychotherapist in four provinces and internationally in the Middle East in Abu Dhabi. After graduating from McGill U in Montreal I worked at colleges/universities and committed to also sustaining a private practice.
