Welcome! My name is Rosalynn, but please feel free to call me Ros! I am a candidate for a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) working under the supervision of a clinical psychologist. I work with children, adolescents, emerging adults, and families using trauma-informed, culturally competent, and collaborative practices. I endeavour to create a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment that is inclusive to all participants. I provide individual counselling sessions for children and teens and dyadic or whole family sessions.
My work is informed by systems theory and principles of person-centred care. My integrative practice primarily includes elements of emotion-focused therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. I enjoy collaborating with my clients to develop a treatment approach that is tailored to their individual needs.
