At some point in our lives, we all go through struggles: trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship breakdowns. Then there are today's world events. Eventually, we reach the point where we need to heal and grow - to answer the questions, "What does this all mean? Who am I? What is my purpose? How can I be happy? How can I live in harmony with others and with the planet?"
While rooted in person-centred therapy, I am trauma-informed and climate-aware. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I'm trained in EMDR, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) & Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am interested in the intersection and integration of psychology and spirituality, and I bring a mindfulness focus to counselling therapy.
I believe that you are the expert in your life; my goal is to draw out and support your inner wisdom. It takes courage to reach out for help, to invite someone else into our pain and struggle.
