Psychological interventions are a way to understand, and change problematic behaviours and relationships that impede a person's development. I see the maladaptive patterns that people become embroiled in as knots, and psychotherapy as a way for people to untie the emotional knots they find themselves in. My approach is psychodynamic in orientation which means how to fundamentally change the negative patterns we continually make across multiple relationships. My particular skill is in working with and helping you to understand the emotional relationships people engage in and how these can have negative and positive consequences
I have 35 years of experience in mental health and hospital settings. I have been involved in individual, group, couples, and family therapy. Historically I have been involved in research and the supervision of psychologists in training. I provide a warm ,understanding environment to better understand your personal growth and change. .
