As a therapist, it is not my place to pass judgment but rather support clients on their journey to understanding how deeply their experiences have impacted their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. This path is not easy nor linear, but it is best traversed with the guidance of an unbiased and empathetic professional by one’s side in a safe therapeutic space. I value empowering and motivating others to meet their goals as I demonstrate the acceptance, genuineness, congruent and unconditional positive regard that I believe they are capable of showing themselves.
Utilizing the framework that best applies to clients I also believe that clients are not their issues/challenges, but rather their struggles are prominent aspects of the mosaic of their life. A client's current identity, history, and diverse background are valuable aspects of the therapeutic relationship.
These aspects will be treated with the utmost respect and understanding as we begin the therapeutic process, collaboratively set goals, and navigate the healing and learning process together.
