I work with adults experiencing the effects of trauma, including survivors of sexualized and domestic violence, and first responders and front-line workers exposed to occupational stress and critical incidents. Many are navigating PTSD or C-PTSD, along with anxiety, depression, or substance use. Clients often present with dysregulation and the ongoing impact of trauma on relationships, safety, and daily functioning. I use a relational, client-centred approach and work collaboratively to identify and address these patterns. I hold a master’s in counselling psychology from UVic and am currently completing a PhD at UBC.
I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including CBT/DBT, narrative therapy and somatic approaches. My work is also informed by attachment theory and a focus on the role of relationships in supporting change. Overall, my approach is integrative and compassion-focused.
My goal is to create a collaborative, supportive space that respects your lived experience and allows you to explore concerns, build insight, and develop practical tools and strategies for change. I look forward to connecting with you!
