Hello everyone! My name is Robynson or Robyn for short. Being a registered Social Worker, I've had years of experience supporting clients through various traumatic events. Since obtaining my Masters degree I have continued to grow my practice as a psychotherapist where I use my creativity combining therapeutic practices to cater to the specific needs of clients. I provide culturally sensitive, and a client centered approach, where clients are active agents in the journey of the therapeutic process. The goal is to help connect you to your needs and be a support as we brainstorm the steps to reaching those needs.
My practice also includes skill building in regards to building awareness of needs and boundaries. We also build problem solving skills to confront barriers, anxieties and fears that can keep us from pursuing our goals. Additionally, we build communication skills to help us communicate these needs and boundaries to our partners or others in our lives.
The goal of my practice is to promote empowerment and to help clients recognize the ability to find the answers within themselves. My role as a psychotherapist is to be a support and encourage you through your journey. I look forward to working with you!
