Glad to have you here — maybe we can find out if I’m someone you’d like as a part of your support system. It would be my gladness to collaborate with you in finding what you need to reach your therapeutic goals. In every case, I will respect your judgement about what you need to move towards growth and I will always do my best to adapt the tools I bring to our sessions to suit your needs. Sometimes we’ll talk carefully through details of your past. Sometimes we’ll use art to explore new ways to face your challenges. Sometimes we’ll find it the most possible to approach the underbelly of your struggles with metaphor and story-making.
I have experience supporting challenges connected to complex trauma, self-esteem, grief, attachment, people-pleasing, anxiety, and depression, including struggles related to developmental trauma and sexual trauma. My approach is client-led, attachment-oriented, humanist, and anti-oppressive, and pulls tools from talk therapy, creative arts, and play therapy.
