Robert grew up in an alcoholic home, and then became a substance abuser himself. Since achieving sobriety, Robert returned to school and with his education and experience, he began working in the addiction profession in 1990s. He has experience with in-patient, outpatient, individual & group counselling, Using his educational and addiction experience, he is helping others on their own road to recovery. His addiction credentials are an International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor, Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor, Certified Gambling Counsellor and Registered with the Collage of Social Worker and Social Service Worker
Robert's unique and passionate approach has gained him the respect of both people with addictions and professionals alike. This has occurred through a combination of his education, experience and his hope for the future of all recovering from addiction and the ones who love and care for them.
Robert believes all people with addiction and the ones that love them have the ability to recover if they are willing to change. His mission is to assist people in developing personal strength and skills that will help them, help themselves, in a addiction-free lifestyle.
