After 50 years in counselling I remain more intrigued than ever by opportunities to support positive growth. At key junctures in life's journey we are confronted with painful experiences that can create the required urgency for needed change. By carefully focusing on a client's unique story I extend an invitation to collaboratively clarify goals and set new directions. I draw from a wide variety of therapeutic approaches but also the life experience gained by being a father of 5, experiencing a diverse and enriching career path, as well as overcoming my own share of adversity along the way.
I've had extensive experience working with clients impacted by divorce. I have offered parenting courses, workshops as well as consultation. I enjoy helping parents manage difficult behavior thereby creating a more healthy and rewarding family environment. I enjoy working with couples and I have been most influenced by the Gottman method.
