Hello! My name is Rita, and I hold a Master’s of Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary. I have over six years of diverse social work experience, focusing on mental health with a variety of populations.
Processing through difficult experiences, thoughts, and feelings can be tricky to navigate. I work with children, parents, families, and individuals to help you do just that, using a combination of different modalities to walk alongside clients on their healing and growth journeys.
Some of my specialties and preferred modalities are Play Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Practicing through strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered perspectives and with an emphasis on inclusion and diversity, I welcome my clients with whom I work into a non-judgmental and empathic space.
