We welcome children, teens, adults, and couples who are looking for support, understanding, and a safe place to be themselves. Our trauma-informed team offers compassionate, inclusive care for those navigating difficult experiences, relationships, life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, feeling stuck or overwhelmed. We meet each client where they are, honouring their unique story, strengths, and goals. Together, we create space for healing, growth, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Our Team
You don't have to have it all figured out before coming to therapy. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or trying to make sense of your experiences, you don't have to carry it alone. I work with youth (14+) and adults navigating trauma, depression, identity, sexuality, and overwhelming emotions. My approach is person-centered and emotion-focused, but what matters most is that I show up as a human first: curious, genuine, and without judgment.

Life can be challenging and sometimes it can be difficult to know the steps we need to take to better understand ourselves and live the life we want to live. I work from the perspective that being a human is hard and that we all face struggles throughout our life. While these challenges may be unavoidable, therapy can provide a place to feel seen and help shift your perspective, discover more about yourself, connect with your feelings, and discover meaning from your experiences.

My ideal clients range in age from adolescents through adulthood, including couples and families. They may have a past history of trauma or grief, or perhaps they are presently struggling with symptoms of ADHD, life changes, or a breakdown of a key relationship. They may be feeling completely overwhelmed and unsure where to go next. They will be open to trying new ideas to help them on the path to feeling better, but will not be worried about talking to me when certain strategies do not work for them, as I can easily switch things up and offer something that may feel more authentic.

I'm a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) who lives and works in the City of Lakes – Dartmouth N.S., but modern day technology allows me to support clients across Nova Scotia and beyond! I specialize in perinatal mental health, and enjoy working with parents of children across all developmental stages. I’m also passionate about supporting clients who are navigating relationship difficulties including those who have experienced domestic violence. I am trained in processing trauma through an EMDR approach and am working toward my advanced EMDRIA certification.
