My counselling style is a combination of warm, caring, empathetic, supportive, direct and to the point, but also lighthearted and humorous. I strive to make sure our sessions are safe and comfortable, driven by co-collaborated goals that are broken down into measurable takeaways after each session that aid us in guiding the work we do and measure our progress.
My approach is rooted in EMDR aimed at supporting you in reprocessing traumatic events, attachment wounds, and negative internalized beliefs about yourself so you can live without constant anxiety, depression, and emotional elevation. Other approaches used are CBT, DBT, EFT, Gottman Method, IFS, MBCT, Person/Client Centered, Solution and Strength Focused.
