About
I'm typically relaxed and conversational and love having conversations that get to the heart of the matter. You could say I specialize in getting people "unstuck" from their current way of thinking about and dealing with issues, through the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills and strategies. I love asking thoughtful questions and re-framing your situation so you can approach it in ways you haven't considered before. We then create a practical plan that gets to the root of issues and ensures you have what you need to succeed.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with a Masters Degree (MA) from Wilfrid Laurier University. I have extensive world-class training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. From my training in marriage and family therapy I also bring a deep understanding of how relationships can impact our lives from childhood into adulthood.
I'm not afraid to provide direction and honest thoughts when it's needed, but strive to do it in a way that respects your values. I keep up to date on modern research trends and obsessively read many of the highest caliber thinkers of our day. Feel free to give me a call, I'm always happy to chat if you have any questions.
