As we all know, life presents intricate challenges that can be overwhelming, convoluted and anxiety-inducing. At times, guidance is essential to navigate these complexities and chart a path forward. My name is Richard and I am bringing over 15 years of experience in community and clinical environments. Throughout my career, I have assisted individuals in unraveling the intricacies of life with compassion, empathy, humor, and practical strategies. I specialize in mental health and well-being challenges including depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, ADHD, and substance use.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from Existential, Emotionally Focused, Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, and Queer-Affirming therapies. Rooted in principles of anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, client-centered care, harm reduction, and spirituality, I tailor my methods to meet diverse needs and preferences.

As a proud, racialized, cis-gay man deeply connected to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I also provide affirming support and offer guidance on matters concerning sexuality, gender identity and expression, non-monogamous relationships, body image, and sexual health.
