Let’s face it—life can be messy, complicated, and downright overwhelming. Sometimes, we just need someone to help us untangle it all and find a way forward. Hi there, I’m Richard! With over 15 years of experience in community and clinical settings, I’ve helped people navigate the twists and turns of life with compassion, empathy, humour, and practical strategies. My approach is eclectic—I draw from Existential, Emotionally Focused, Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, and Queer-Affirming therapies, all grounded in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, client-centered care, harm-reduction, and spirituality (if that’s your vibe).

I specialize in helping folks with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief and loss, ADHD, and substance use. As a proud, racialized, cis-gay man deeply connected to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I also offer affirming support around sexuality, gender identity/expression, non-monogamous relationships, body image, and sexual health.
