Culture shock, past trauma, and living under oppression can surface as anxiety, depression, or trouble adapting and relating to others. Much of our suffering begins and is kept alive in relationships: we learn patterns early, especially through trauma, and they show up in what we long for and reject in ourselves and others.
My work is integrative. With advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, and relational Gestalt and Self-Psychology, I work with body and mind to help trauma resolve, in a safe, gentle, caring space. I have deep experience supporting immigrants and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
