About
I would like to offer you my appreciation on how important the step you are giving right now is. Finding a psychotherapist can be daunting or disconcerting at first but the impulse that brought you here means you want things to be different, right? Maybe with less anxiety, less suffering or less loneliness. Maybe with more space to be who you are and experience more easiness to relate to others. Past traumas, being raised in non-attuned contexts and any form of oppression impose ruptures to the dialog between us and others and the internal parts of our self. These cracks generate conflicts, suffering, shame, and a self-alienation.
I am trauma oriented psychotherapist with Somatic Experiencing and Brainspotting training for embodied trauma resolution striving to develop knowledge that side with gentleness, empathy and care. I have developed support groups and workshops addressing mental health issues faced by LGBTQ people and immigrants.
I have immense respect for people´s struggles and understand it as part of our potential as humans, inevitably indicating how creative we have been in order to survive painful situations and navigate difficult environments. I have been working deeply with people experiencing a vast range of emotinal suffering in a gentle and empowering way.
