| فارسی I help my clients with challenges in their personal, relational and professional roles, using their own strengths, negative thought patterns, and past experiences. I help my clients work through their new roles in life as a parent, partner, etc.
Parents may specifically find our sessions helpful as we discuss the parenting styles, how they bond with the child, and how parenthood has been impacting the partner's dynamic. I also help immigrants and new comers work through their negative feelings such as guilt, sadness, fears and self-doubts; uniquely, adult children who carry a sense of guilt towards their aging parents back home.
My training in CBT, trauma-informed therapy, Developmental Couple Therapy for Complex Trauma, narrative therapy, and art therapy allows me to help individuals and couples address their fears, difficult past experiences, attachment and relational issues. Emotion regulation, mindfulness, & identifying negative thoughts are essential parts of our work together.
My living and clinical experience in Ontario and Quebec encouraged me to expand my services to BC. I have worked among the First Nations communities in Quebec, with refugee claimants, and with many schools and organizations in both provinces. If you're interested starting your healing journey for yourself or your child, contact me to set up an initial call.
