I am trained to work with individuals, couples and families, and will provide support and encouragement to achieve breakthrough for emotional and relational concerns. I also support parents to enhance skills and find greater satisfaction in raising their children. I have over twenty-five years in the counselling field and can provide a supportive, caring space for clients to share their concerns, learn effective coping strategies, begin recovery and reconnect with life.
I have extensive experience in the area of trauma and abuse, addictions, and family of origin issues. I can provide skills training in emotional regulation, making peace with the past, and recovery from childhood hurts. I also work with couples, families, parents, and those with relationship issues to help them become unstuck.
I grew up in the UK, and have provided counselling in British Columbia and Alberta. I understand the challenge of making change, and I assist clients in clarifying their personal goals and exploring areas of struggle. My goal is to help others build on their personal strengths, work toward resolution of issues and achieve greater peace and fulfillment.
