About
I provide "Couples Intensives", helping couples in making their relationship the best it can be...all the way to those who cannot decide, "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" Bring your painful and complicated life-stories including family of origin trauma, affairs, addictions, boundary and self-esteem issues, and sexuality concerns. Come for a full day intensive, or to a series of 4-6, two to three hour couple's sessions, using a Relational Life Therapy approach, (Terry Real) because you just don't feel close anymore!
Couples Intensives create a pathway to healing, where I name the truth about unhealthy dynamics that keep you stuck: control, unbridled expression, withdrawal, retaliation and being right. I motivate couples to move forward in more mature ways: showing respect, cherishing, listening and speaking with love, asking for what you need and giving what you can.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Fellow of (OAMFT/AAMFT) and Certified Sex Therapist (BESTCO). Using an integrative approach to psychotherapy and specializing in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), couples are guided through a process to take steps forward in their relationship. www.relationshipsforlife.ca
