I specialize in treating complex post-traumatic stress (C-PTSD) as result of childhood, relational, sexual, or vicarious trauma. Tanvi is a Registered Social Worker with 10 years of experience in human services supporting the community with her empathic nature and understanding of diverse social dynamics. She has a passion for supporting clients with finance, housing, abuse, concerns with mental health, caregiver stress, advocacy/system navigation, bereavement, end-of-life planning, family/relationship conflict, coping/adjustment, crisis intervention and referring to community resources.

We all have different backgrounds and journeys that lead us to crossroads in life; some of us are hoping for relief, while others are searching for growth. When I get calls from clients looking for help, they don’t ask me what modality I use, instead they want to know who I am. Therapy is more about the relationship than the method, and this has been proven by research. I will apply my knowledge and expertise to help you navigate your psychological, emotional and relational issues with care. I have been helping people for over a decade in various capacities. We all have untapped resources and strengths waiting to be discovered.

I have a wide range of experience supporting clients experiencing Abuse, Anxiety, Anger, Addiction, Depression, Oppression, Low self-esteem, Stress, Relationship/marital issues & Parenting issues. I have provided support to a wide variety of clients from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I am privileged to have worked for many years in the community with clients involved with Criminal Justice, Family Court and Child Welfare Agencies in Canada and internationally. I am member of Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), National Organization of Forensic Social Work (NOFSW).

I have done PhD in Clinical Psychology & have always been a believer of something far beyond Science i.e. Spirituality, which is why I feel deeply that, the ones who find me and eventually come to me, were destined.
