My educational background includes a Social Service Diploma, a Bachelor of Social Work, a Concurrent Disorder Certificate, a Graduate Teaching Certificate and A Masters of Social Work. I have many certificates from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine in CBT for a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, psychosis, self-harm, addictions, eating disorders, trauma and phobias. I am certified in Critical Incident Group debriefing.

I am a registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist through OCSWSSW. I am a Compassion Fatigue educator, and The Kenora and Area Ambassador for the Ontario Association of Social workers (OASW). I am trained in many modalities such as CBT, EFT, DBT, CPT, Solution Focused Therapy and I'm trained, certified and a consultant in training for EMDR.

I have 20 + years’ experience working with individuals, groups, cultures, diagnosis, disorders, and resiliencies of all ages. I am open to tackling anything together, advocating for you and supporting you in meeting any of your needs. I work from a trauma informed, anti racist/oppressive, inclusive approach. I will go at your pace and we pivot as needed.
