For the last 7 years, I have worked with survivors of trauma - including sexual violence, familial violence, racial trauma, homophobia, among others - to address and process their experiences. My approach to therapy is warm, responsive, playful and transparent. I believe that every person benefits from learning about themselves, and that understanding the process of therapy helps with learning about the self. I meet you where you are (literally, in some ways, as I am offering digital therapy), and believe we can move from there. I want therapy to be useful, and welcome honesty, feedback, and laughter in session.
Every session provides space to look at your life in the context of relationships you’re in, your histories, and systems you come up against. I understand that your identity can shift the way you experience, hold, and speak about your trauma and yourself. I use tools from different therapeutic models, always maintaining a feminist, anti-oppressive lens.
