One of, if not the biggest, indicators of success within therapy is the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. It means that I see YOU as the expert on your life and your lived experience. I have expertise and skills that I will share with you, but I will always believe you and your experiences first and foremost. I will act as guide and provide support while we navigate your life together.
I work to be anti-oppressive in my practice. I understand that sometimes there are things and systems in place that are outside of your control that significantly impact your well-being. I aim to work with you to figure out first steps, next steps, and a plan for self discovery. I will be trauma informed in our work together, at a pace of your choosing.
