Welcome - my name is Rebecca (she/her), and I'm a counselling therapist and owner of The Nest Therapy & Wellness. I offer services to individuals exploring a wide range of issues, with a particular focus on complex trauma (C-PTSD), acute trauma (PTSD), neurodivergence, attachment and childhood wounds, and self-esteem. I am passionate about assisting clients in fostering self-worth and self-compassion, & believe that everyone deserves to feel connected to themselves mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally, and empowered to live an authentic life.
I am grounded in holistic and trauma-informed approaches, and the mind-body connection, drawing on a blend of EMDR, Internal Family Systems (informed), interpersonal and relational approaches, polyvagal theory, mindfulness and self-compassion practice, and somatic work.
