I am a cisgender South Asian immigrant to Canada, privileged to work with individuals, families, and people of all genders and orientations. As a parent of a neurodivergent child, I have lived experience and training in helping children, teens, adults, and families find strength and resilience.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Registered Art Therapist (RCAT) with training in evidence based Art Psychotherapy, TF-CBT, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Internal Family Systems and family therapy approaches. I practise from a client-centered, trauma-informed, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive framework.
I offer child, youth, adult and family therapy services utilising strengths-based, neuro-affirming, relational, somatic, arts-based approaches to guide mind-body connection and healing. I find it important to practise ongoing therapist self-reflection and reflexivity, cultural humility, and to advocate for social justice and systemic change.
