Are you Transgender? Neurodivergent? Queer? Or Questioning? Do you have difficulties connecting with mental health support because you feel that workers do not understand you? Have you had previous experiences with cisgender providers that have made you feel a little hesitant to reach out to a new therapist? That makes sense to me.
My name is Rae, I am a non-binary transgender Social Worker who has been working with Transgender people and their loved ones in various community, clinical and mental health roles for over 14 years. If you would like to connect with a therapist without feeling you have to work so hard- Let's talk
Supporting transgender people through this journey over the years has been a great honor. Transgender community often experiences a variety of exasperated mental health symptoms; because of this, I have worked with a large variety of complex mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, BPD, psychosis, DID and trauma.
If I sound like a good fit for you as a therapist. Please feel free to reach out. I recognize that connecting with a new person can be tricky- if there’s anything that could make that easier for you. Please include that in your message. If needed, I can offer a 15- minute phone consult to see if we're a good fit. I look forward to connecting with you.
