As a therapist, I strive to provide empathic, non-judgmental support to you as you navigate life's challenges. I see you as the expert in your own life, and as such I will take a collaborative approach to our work together. I have a special interest in working with clients struggling with weight-bias, self-esteem, and body-image issues, however I see clients with a wide array of concerns such as depression, anxiety, and relational concerns. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help clients achieve a sense of peace and safety in their bodies, minds, and relationships.
I use an integrative approach; I have received education/training in various therapy approaches such as narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, attachment-based therapy and Internal Family Systems, among others. I aim to blend elements from different approaches to best serve client needs and goals.
