I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University specializing in Individual Family & Group therapy. A first step in challenging our shame and struggle with self-acceptance can be to take the risk of allowing someone to witness our vulnerability. A counsellor can act as this witness, holding compassion in a safe and non-judgmental space. My counselling style is guided by the principle that we inherently have the inner resources to meet life’s challenges from a place of empowerment. I work from feminist, narrative, anti-oppression, and person-centered frameworks.

I’m from Melbourne, Australia and lived in Toronto for over three years. Prior to living in Canada, I spent over five years as a mental health clinician working in youth mental health, community health, and addictions.
