About
Psychotherapy is a good place to ease suffering, to arrive at more satisfying decisions, and to gain vitality. Are you worried about certain symptoms, or feeling unable to cope with emotions? Maybe you are discouraged, confused, or unsatisfied with "stuck" patterns in your relationships. Therapy offers a re-looking at what is close to us already. Sometimes, we recognize what we know, but in a different way. What frees us from lonely paralysis or the repetition of unsatisfying behaviour or thinking is the presence of another. This blind circle of reflection only opens up when there is someone to talk to.
In my bilingual general clinical psychology practice, I work with adults suffering from a variety of issues ranging from grief to anxiety, from psychiatric disorders to problems with work stress. My clinical approach is intersubjective, which essentially means that I take an active role with you in making sense of your experience.
'Human understanding is marvellously enlightened by daily conversation with men, for we are, otherwise, compressed and heaped up in ourselves, and have our sight limited to the length of our own noses.' - Michel de Montaigne
