Post-Secondary Students: Managing Stress & Success
An Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) informed group for post-secondary students wanting to learn skills to help get out of your mind and into your life.
DBT Informed Skills Group
In this 5 week group participants are introduced to the four main DBT skills: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Participants can expect experiential learning and at home practice. Please feel free to send me an email to learn more about the program and when the next group begins.
Introduction to Mindfulness: Stress & Anxiety
Learn the practice of mindfulness meditation informally and formally in a relaxed and down to earth environment. During this introductory course we will explore the benefits of mindfulness and how it has become a super power in today's fast-paced world. Participants will gain an understanding of the body's stress response and learn practical (mindfulness) strategies to shift into a state of relaxation. Please contact me by email for more information about this group or individual mindfulness-based sessions.
