Taking the first step to find help in working through life’s challenges takes self-awareness and courage. Congratulations for taking that first step. As your therapist, I promise you the following: I will work with you, at your pace, to help you feel confident and energized about who you are. I will help support you in facing life’s difficulties and in building strong and healthy relationships. I will value the nuances and uniqueness of your life journey and I will motivate you to meet your therapy goals with care and compassion.
I have provided counselling services for people with mental health concerns for the past 8 years in hospital, schools and in not-for-profit settings. Primarily, I work with individuals 16 years of age and older, who are interested in seeking support in emotional, behavioural, and relationship issues.
My areas of expertise are helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, eating disorders, and parenting. I shape my therapy approach to best fit for your needs. Please contact me for more information, it would be a pleasure to work with you. (To learn more about my style and therapeutic approach, check out my instagram "theemotioncentre")
