I work with adults navigating life transitions, loss, anxiety, or the complexities of identity. With a background in the arts, I often work with creatives or arts professionals and by extension the education or work trauma connected to that path. But I am here for anyone seeking steady, compassionate arts-based psychotherapy. Art therapy is an evidence-based practice where creative expression is used to support your healing. It really looks different for everyone. It's ok if you haven't touched art materials since you were a child. You're here for the therapy, and the art will be incorporated naturally.
Art therapy gives us the opportunity to "see" what we're working with. I integrate talk therapy into the work, so we'll balance discussion and art-making. We'll also work with your nervous system. One of the coolest elements of art therapy is the art review. Taking a step back with all of your images, we might discover "aha" moments and ways to move forward.
My practice is built on being approachable, warm, and intentional. You're going through it right now and you don't need to hold it all alone. Finding the right therapist is all about fit and we can check that in a free, introductory chat. Reach out when you're ready to get started.
