Hi, I'm Rachel, the face behind STORM Counselling, a practice inspired by unconditional love, resilience, and connection. The deeper meaning behind STORM aligns with my values as a therapist, as well as my hope for you as a client. At STORM, I work to provide you with strength to face your biggest fears, trust in yourself as you begin your therapy journey, openness to look within yourself with curiosity and compassion, resilience to handle challenges as they come, and finding meaning and value in your life. Just like stormy weather, life can feel heavy and dark, but we can get through the storm together.
I work virtually with Adults 26 years and older in New Brunswick, as well as Youth (12-26) and Adults (26 years and up) in Newfoundland and Labrador. I take a relaxed, client-led approach, focusing on setting goals collaboratively and meeting clients without pressure or judgement.
I started STORM Counselling with the goal of providing safe, supportive, mental health care. I feel honoured to walk along side individuals in their therapy journeys, lending a helping hand to get through the heavy storms that they may face.
