Are you feeling overwhelmed by the current stressors of life, wondering what path to take next, frustrated with relationships, experiencing burnout, or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns or painful memories? With compassion and acceptance, I will help increase your capacity to cope with present stressors, resolve painful experiences from the past, and create a hopeful future.
I work with individuals and couples to support repair, recovery, and raise resilience. Sessions focus on understanding and processing your experiences through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens. I utilize tools from polyvagal theory, solution-focused and narrative therapies, and EMDR, CBT, and DBT.
I believe that a positive, collaborative, and safe relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. While therapy is hard work, there can also be moments of light-heartedness and laughter. It is rewarding to gain insight into why we do what we do, and break unhelpful patterns. I'm excited to join you on this journey!
