As a Core Energetics Practitioner, it is my intention to support you in becoming all of who you are, connect with your deepest longing, find the courage to heal old wounds, and free yourself from defensive patterns that hold you back from creating the life you want. Trained in somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness meditation, and shamanic practices, I focus on the mind body connection to help people suffering from trauma, PTSD, relationship, existential, or spiritual crisis, to improve the quality of their life. I also offer pre- and post- integration work for anyone who has done plant-medicine or psychedelic assisted therapy.

Blended families and families created through adoption, fostering, kinship, and assisted reproduction have unique experiences that sometimes differ from those created by birth alone. These experiences can lead to emotions such as grief, anger and shame, and can impact self-esteem, identity and relationships. I have experience working with families undergoing fertility treatments, birth families, kinship families and adoptive families. I strive to support individuals make sense of their individual journeys and understand how experiences are impacting their current lives.

A lesson that has stood out to me in practice, is to engage with therapeutic work that has relevance within my own lived experience. Trauma and loss have always been a prominent part of my life and within my own context, I have struggled with how chaotic, isolating and unknown these experiences can be. A small insight that has aided me in processing hardship, is that these experiences are human and that our grieving process should be treated gently. This can be difficult to recognize and do on our own. I aim to help nurture and normalize this experience.

For a decade, I've supported people in situations from baby loss to dementia, coming-out to burnout. I started my career offering spiritual care for people living with mental illness, and over the years I have supported clients from all walks of life to lead full and flourishing lives. My clients are from diverse backgrounds who have experienced traumatic events that are adversely impacting their personal sense of who they are, their relationships, both personal and professional. The clients are seeking to make sense of their lived experiences and recover their agency and power to live a wholesome life with dignity and respect. My clients usually have a history of intergenerational violence and come to therapy for resolving issues such as historic and current sexual violence, intimate relational violence, trafficking, trauma related to war and conflict, workplace violence, discrimination and harassment.

Too often, we suffer alone with stress, anxiety, strained relationships, compulsive behaviour, depression, loneliness and a host of other issues. While it can be so easy to feel isolated with these problems, talking to an objective, trained, support person can build hope and create a path towards improvement.
